Titter Totter bags

Titter Totter is what I call my two new bags.  By this time, you must have figured out this crazy  love I have for bags. In fact, bags came first before beads came to life.  But not the expensive, luxury type of bags.  More like ...1)   bags that form in my mind.  Like the one I talked about in this blog ...and 2) bags big enough to fit and carry practically everything in my closet. No kidding!

Why Titter Totter?  Visually, the bags seem ready to tear apart at the least touch.  But NOT.  I adore them for the reason that both bags are positioned as eco-friendly.

First, a bag made from scrap materials and made with love by an Aunt.  She was responsible for designing and sewing my beautiful wedding gown, and she took care of putting together white flowers for Uncle Bob last year. Currently, she is busy with bags (and very busy with flamenco dresses).

The same bag, but sporting a bigger look.

A lovely button that serve as accent and lock at the same time.

How it looks inside.  Gold shimmery material used as lining, same material used for my bead pouches.

If you wish to see this bag in person, a few will be sold in this year's Christmas Bazaars.  The invites have begun.  But I have decided to only participate in two bazaars.   I will definitely let you know the final details soon.

Then, the tarpaulin-made AC (Assumption College)-ECO Bag .

I wanted one  and rode on with Karla's order despite the presence of a looming denial on how time zooms fast. Really fast!  In a couple of years, my batch is celebrating our Velada - the 25th year anniversary of our high school graduation. Everyone is looking forward to this grand celebration and the AC-ECO Bag marks the start.

A good carry-all bag for my Pharmacy files which I lug everywhere. Even at the bank while working on payroll matters yesterday.

Beaded bracelet converted into a bag charm not included.  But a good way to give more flavor to a bag.

Calling all AC girls, should you be interested, please feel free to visit and order from this site.

Do I smell peace?

And just like that, the Pharmacy team is back. On  the right track.  After our happy out-of-town, no work just play affair, we still had a couple of aftershocks to face.

Let me NOT enumerate what started in March.  My heart still runs wild each time I think about it.  But all is better now.  All I now see and focus on are our busy months ahead, which had actually began over the weekend.

4am opening for our quarterly Operation Health Alert.  Our early birds.

The team in action, in darkness.

J. Bond, the umbrella boy.  One of our many ways to provide "superior" customer service to patients :)

Then, visited Dad early this afternoon.  Finally, a bit of silence.

I'm slowly moving towards my usual programming, beading included.  Keeping fingers crossed.

Our Special Day

We share a special day in July.

THIS happened to me a year ago.  Yesterday, the doctor gave a pat on my back.  A first!!!  I've never been so happy with my medical results...except for the positive yet horrid effect on weight.  Eek!

On the other side of the globe,  my diva niece came to life on the same day I hit a bump.  They say she looks like me.  At times, I think yes.  Then, I think nope.

Now, she's a year old...and full of color. This I must say...just like ME :)

Happy Birthday, Cutie RichA!!!

More of my niece in my sister's blog.

My 3rd WEDDING RING

Five years and six months ago.

The intention was to model the wedding ring.  Here's one more, my left hand around J. Bond's neck.

This morning, J. Bond thought of having a spare wedding ring made.  He thinks that the original blessed rings must forever be kept safe.

I thought I lost mine in Starbucks a few months after my wedding day. Unlike necklaces, I have a track record of losing rings.  Of course, I panicked and quickly had a 2nd ring made.    I now have 2 which  I rarely wear for fear of losing either once again. Apparently, my careless self left the original  on top of my work desk and re-discovered it on the day the 2nd ring was delivered.

Now, J. Bond is seriously thinking of having a 2nd ring made to serve as spare.  I want another one too, but not as spare. Rather, a ring that would  symbolize our 5 years of bliss, yet with a design that would  magnify our individual character.

J. Bond agrees.

So here's what I "secretly" desire.
*Lol!
So me and really pretty.
Yoohoo, J. Bond!

to two giRls

How timely I stumbled upon a simple yet meaningful prayer on a day I need it most. Both of you have consumed my thoughts since that gloomy Saturday afternoon I came to your defense.  You know who you are, and I also know you drop by and read my blogs.  Don't worry, I don't mind.  I'm truly happy to share with you snippets of my "back side" that you rarely see.

I was beyond grateful for having been physically near when your battle took a twisted turn.  What if it happened a week prior?  I was in Baguio, miles away.  But you two knew how to fight with great fierceness and feistiness.  No backing off.  But my dear girls, I am still deeply bothered by how relationships were managed.  You may be way younger than I am, but old enough to know right from wrong.

In time, I hope and pray that you learn...

That each one is unique, and one of a kind.  Slow. Fast. Nerd. Duh.  White. Black.  Soft. Stiff. Tall. Short.  Curly. Straight. RESPECT the differences.

I admire how fierce, feisty and passionate you both are.  Yes, continue living with passion, but not  "fashion".  Good looks fade.  A good heart remains forever.

Sad to say, bad impressions last.  But everyone deserves a 2nd, a 3rd, a 4th or maybe a 5th chance.

But for now, let's begin with practicing a bit of patience.....

....Then perhaps, you would have discovered his story.  And, understood.

Be good!
